About the Role
We are currently seeking an experienced and motivated Supervising Pharmacist to lead and oversee the day-to-day operations of the dispensary while delivering exceptional patient care and professional pharmacy services.
This is an exciting opportunity for a pharmacist who is passionate about clinical excellence, leadership, and team development within a fast-paced and customer-focused pharmacy environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and manage the safe, accurate, and efficient dispensing of prescriptions
- Ensure compliance with all legislative, contractual, professional, and ethical standards
- Lead and support dispensary staff, including pharmacists, technicians, OTC assistants, interns, and pharmacy students
- Provide expert advice and guidance to patients and customers regarding medicines and healthcare services
- Support and promote professional pharmacy services and healthcare initiatives
- Oversee dispensary stock management and pharmacy claims processes
- Ensure excellent customer service standards are maintained across the pharmacy
- Mentor, train, and develop team members to support continuous improvement and professional growth
- Build and maintain strong relationships with patients, healthcare professionals, suppliers, and the wider pharmacy team
- Support the ongoing operational success and performance of the pharmacy

What We’re Looking For
- Registered Pharmacist with PSI registration
- Previous experience in a Supervising Pharmacist or senior pharmacy leadership role
- Strong clinical knowledge and professional integrity
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Strong organisational and problem-solving abilities
- Customer-focused with a patient-first approach
- Ability to lead and motivate teams within a fast-paced environment
- Passion for continuous learning, development, and service excellence

Work Pattern
Flexibility is required across weekday, weekend and Bank Holiday trading hours, including morning, mid, and evening shifts.
