About the Role

We are currently seeking an experienced and motivated Supervising Pharmacist to lead and oversee the day-to-day operations of the dispensary while delivering exceptional patient care and professional pharmacy services.

This is an exciting opportunity for a pharmacist who is passionate about clinical excellence, leadership, and team development within a fast-paced and customer-focused pharmacy environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise and manage the safe, accurate, and efficient dispensing of prescriptions
  • Ensure compliance with all legislative, contractual, professional, and ethical standards
  • Lead and support dispensary staff, including pharmacists, technicians, OTC assistants, interns, and pharmacy students
  • Provide expert advice and guidance to patients and customers regarding medicines and healthcare services
  • Support and promote professional pharmacy services and healthcare initiatives
  • Oversee dispensary stock management and pharmacy claims processes
  • Ensure excellent customer service standards are maintained across the pharmacy
  • Mentor, train, and develop team members to support continuous improvement and professional growth
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with patients, healthcare professionals, suppliers, and the wider pharmacy team
  • Support the ongoing operational success and performance of the pharmacy

What We’re Looking For

  • Registered Pharmacist with PSI registration
  • Previous experience in a Supervising Pharmacist or senior pharmacy leadership role
  • Strong clinical knowledge and professional integrity
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Strong organisational and problem-solving abilities
  • Customer-focused with a patient-first approach
  • Ability to lead and motivate teams within a fast-paced environment
  • Passion for continuous learning, development, and service excellence

Work Pattern

Flexibility is required across weekday, weekend and Bank Holiday trading hours, including morning, mid, and evening shifts.
