Supervisor - 24 Hour Permanent Contract

Supervisor – Oxford (Permanent, 24 Hours)

About Seasalt and the Role

Originally selling workwear to local mariners and practical overalls to artists, Seasalt began in a small shop in Penzance in 1981. Today, it’s a leading UK lifestyle brand with:

  • Over 80 shops across the UK and Ireland
  • 400+ wholesale partners
  • A thriving online business
  • A strong commitment to exceptional clothing craftsmanship, customer service, and local communities

As we continue to grow, we prioritise Excellence in every touchpoint—whether in our warehouse, stores, or customer service channels—and we build a team that shares our values. Our dedication was recognised by winning the Drapers Award for Best Place to Work in 2022.

The Supervisor plays a critical role in the store. Responsible for guiding the store team, ensuring exceptional customer service, maintaining visual standards, and supporting the Store Manager and Assistant Store Manager with day-to-day operations.

Your Responsibilities

The Oxford store operates on Late Trading, with hours of 8:00AM–8:00PM. Successful candidates must be able to work flexibly across these hours, including evenings and weekends as needed.

You will:

  • Support the management team in fostering a service-focused culture where the customer is at the heart of every interaction.
  • Guide the Sales Advisor team on recommending additional services and products, including:
    • Omni-channel selling strategies
    • Gathering customer data
    • Upselling add-on purchases to drive sales
  • Assist with store sales, profitability, and KPI achievement, ensuring targets are met consistently.
  • Implement visual merchandising standards—windows, product displays, and bestseller placement—to maximise commercial opportunities.
  • Train and coach the Sales Advisor team on:
    • Business and brand knowledge
    • Product expertise (including ranges, design inspiration, and services)
  • Communicate store performance to the team and stakeholders, providing:
    • Regular feedback
    • Highlighting risks and opportunities for sales growth
  • Support the Store Manager with all store operations, including:
    • Stock management
    • Loss prevention
    • Escalation and incident reporting
    • Health, safety, and GDPR compliance
    • Cash handling procedures
    • Key holder responsibilities
    • Store safety standards
  • Be a key holder, ensuring operational coverage when required.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
