The Supervisor plays a critical role in the store. Responsible for guiding the store team, ensuring exceptional customer service, maintaining visual standards, and supporting the Store Manager and Assistant Store Manager with day-to-day operations.
Your Responsibilities
The Oxford store operates on Late Trading, with hours of 8:00AM–8:00PM. Successful candidates must be able to work flexibly across these hours, including evenings and weekends as needed.
You will:
- Support the management team in fostering a service-focused culture where the customer is at the heart of every interaction.
- Guide the Sales Advisor team on recommending additional services and products, including:
- Omni-channel selling strategies
- Gathering customer data
- Upselling add-on purchases to drive sales
- Assist with store sales, profitability, and KPI achievement, ensuring targets are met consistently.
- Implement visual merchandising standards—windows, product displays, and bestseller placement—to maximise commercial opportunities.
- Train and coach the Sales Advisor team on:
- Business and brand knowledge
- Product expertise (including ranges, design inspiration, and services)
- Communicate store performance to the team and stakeholders, providing:
- Regular feedback
- Highlighting risks and opportunities for sales growth
- Support the Store Manager with all store operations, including:
- Stock management
- Loss prevention
- Escalation and incident reporting
- Health, safety, and GDPR compliance
- Cash handling procedures
- Key holder responsibilities
- Store safety standards
- Be a key holder, ensuring operational coverage when required.
