Supervisor – Facilities Management
(WPS) ¦ Northamptonshire
We are looking for a Supervisor to support the delivery of small works, emergency response and subcontractor management across our FM contracts in Northamptonshire.
This is an excellent opportunity for a technically grounded supervisor with a plumbing or kitchen/bathroom installation background, who has progressed into managing contractors, reactive works and minor projects within a Facilities Management environment.
About The Role
As Supervisor, you will act as a key on-site point of contact, coordinating sub-contractors, triaging emergency works and supporting the delivery of minor planned and reactive works.
- Work closely with the Contract Manager and wider FM team
- Ensure works are delivered safely, correctly and efficiently
- Maintain clear communication with clients and stakeholders
This role suits someone who is comfortable being hands-on when required, but equally confident supervising others and managing multiple workstreams.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate subcontractors on site, ensuring safe, compliant and high-quality delivery
- Act as the point of communication and liaison between clients, subcontractors and the WPS team
- Support and triage emergency and reactive works, prioritising and allocating resources effectively
- Manage and oversee small project works and minor life-cycle works
- Use CAFM / PDA technology to manage jobs, updates and reporting
- Ensure all works are delivered in line with legislation, contractual obligations and Wates standards
- Monitor health & safety performance, embedding a Zero Harm culture on site
- Provide clear, professional reporting on works completed and issues identified

About You
- Background in plumbing, kitchen or bathroom installations, with progression into supervisory or small works roles
- Experience managing contractors and subcontractors, ideally within an FM environment
- Confident overseeing minor works such as replacement pumps, AC units, and small mechanical works
- Familiar with reactive and planned maintenance within Facilities Management
- Strong organisational skills with good attention to detail
- Confident communicator, able to liaise effectively with clients, subcontractors and internal teams
- Health & safety aware with a professional, solutions-focused approach
