Are you an experienced Supervisor looking for your next challenge in a fast-paced civils environment?

We are seeking a proactive and hands-on individual to oversee and coordinate reactive civils works, ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards. In this role, you will take ownership of day-to-day site operations, managing teams, subcontractors, and resources while ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations and industry requirements. Acting as the key link between site teams and management, you will play a vital role in maintaining quality, resolving on-site issues, and driving performance across multiple reactive works.

About CBUL

Cappagh Browne Utilities Ltd is a special purpose joint venture established to deliver wastewater network maintenance and repair services for Southern Water across the South of England. We focus on keeping sewer networks operating efficiently through planned maintenance, emergency response, and rehabilitation works. Our capability is underpinned by a substantial fleet of specialist vehicles including vacuum tankers, jetting units, and CCTV survey equipment, supported by advanced technology for rapid diagnostics and effective solutions. With a reputation for safety, reliability, and technical expertise, Cappagh Browne plays a critical role in protecting communities and maintaining essential infrastructure.

What We’re Looking For

We are looking for someone who brings a strong mix of technical knowledge, leadership, and practical experience, including:

  • Proven experience supervising civils or drainage works, including managing site teams (“running gangs”)
  • Strong understanding of health & safety requirements and site compliance
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Essential certifications: Street Works (Operative or Supervisor), Confined Space, EUSR (Modules 1–5)
  • Desirable: SSSTS, IOSH, or knowledge of CDM regulations
  • A full UK driving licence and willingness to travel as required

As part of this role, you will be required to go on the out of hours standby rota.
