The Sun & 13 Canton's Supervisor

The Sun & 13 Canton's is a legendary pub in the heart of Soho, established in 1882, famous for the actors, musicians, and artists who have graced its floors. Our pub serves a mix of classic and craft beers with a focus on music and the arts. The restaurant is run as a residency and is currently operated by Tagine and Grill, a Moroccan kitchen.

About the Role

We're looking for a full-time Supervisor (full-time is 30 - 40 hours a week across five days) who would be looking to join the management team. The ideal candidate will have at least two years' experience in a previous supervisory or management role, and is themselves looking to progress and take on responsibilities within the business. This includes key holding, opening and closing to a high standard, ensuring shifts and services are run effectively, and that customers are welcomed, looked after, and that issues are dealt with or passed up the chain of command to be addressed. The person must be willing to learn, can take direction, and wants to join the established team.

Responsibilities

  • Key holding, opening and closing to a high standard.
  • Ensuring shifts and services are run effectively.
  • Welcoming, looking after customers, and dealing with or passing up issues.
  • Joining the established team.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
