Sales Supervisor – Aelia Store

We are seeking encompassing, results-driven Supervisors to join the Aelia store in the London City Airport departure lounge, delivering world-class service and team leadership.
Role Overview
Hours: 37.5 hours per week, across 5 days in departure lounge, airport environment.
Position title: Sales Supervisor
About the Role
The role for Sales Supervisor is integral to maintaining our high service ethos. You will lead a team of Sales Advisors, ensuring excellent customer service, compliance, and business growth. The store sits in a fast-paced, airport retail environment—where passion for service, teamwork, and retail intensity matter most.
Key Responsibilities
Customer Service & Team Leadership
- Deliver service aligned with OSCAR Service standards.
- Inspire and motivate the team to strengthen sales and customer satisfaction.
- Generate and implement strategic business/team development initiatives.
- Utilise OSCAR coaching model to encourage service excellence.
- Recognise and reward outstanding team performance.
Staff Management
- Recruitment, planning, training, and development of Sales Advisors / Replenishment Assistants.
- Maintain professional coordination between team members and leadership.
- Set and meet targets through performance coaching and accountability.

Operations & Security
- Cash/Stock Control: Adhere to policies and ensure compliance with inventory.
- Safety/Terminal Responsibility: Comply with airport regulations.
- Stock Management:
- Merchandising, pricing, and shop floor replenishment.
- Stocktaking & inventory compliance.
- Goods receiving duties.
- Housekeeping/Health & Safety:
- Maintain store presentation rules.
- Ensure cleanliness & safe use of equipment.
- Tidy stock rooms.
- Security:
- Protection of stock, shop floor, and till compliance.
- Security awareness within airport setting.
Requirements
Essential
- Supervisory/managerial experience in retail or a similar high-volume environment.
- Strong understanding of budgets, sales targets, and continuous performance improvement.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently or collaboratively depending on business needs.
- Commitment to maintaining professionalism under pressure.
- Strong interpersonal skills and teamwork ability.
- Proactive, self-motivated, and adaptable.
- Ability to quickly learn new systems, products, and processes.
