Supervisor – Aviation Fuelling

RAF Northolt, London

Full-Time | Aviation Operations | Career Progression Opportunity

Join a Global Leader in Aviation Fuel Services

World Fuel is seeking an experienced and safety-focused Supervisor to support our aviation fuelling operations at RAF Northolt.

This is an exciting opportunity for an operational leader who enjoys working in a fast-paced aviation environment while developing people, maintaining the highest safety standards, and ensuring excellent service delivery to customers.

Reporting to the Station Manager, you will play a key role in the day-to-day leadership of our fuelling operation, overseeing technicians, supporting operational performance, managing safety and compliance requirements, and ensuring the safe and efficient delivery of aviation fuel.

This role offers excellent exposure to airport operations and provides a strong pathway for future progression within a global organisation.

About The Role

As Supervisor, you'll help lead a small but critical team responsible for the safe storage, handling, and delivery of aviation fuel.

You will act as a key operational leader on site, supporting both people and processes to ensure that customer requirements, safety standards, and operational objectives are consistently achieved.

You'll work closely with the Station Manager, customers, airport stakeholders, suppliers, and operational teams to maintain a safe, compliant, and efficient operation.

Key Responsibilities

Operational Leadership

  • Supervise the day-to-day aviation fuelling operation at RAF Northolt.
  • Support the management of staffing levels, shift planning, and vehicle utilisation.
  • Lead and motivate operational teams to deliver high levels of safety and performance.
  • Act as a key point of contact for operational communications and issue resolution.
  • Support emergency response activities and incident management where required.
  • Provide operational cover when required to maintain customer service levels.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
