Role Overview
The retail Supervisor is responsible for supporting the daily operations of the counter, assisting in maintaining the overall culture, and helping ensure the team represents and embraces the brand guidelines and expectations. They will support the management of the counter team, including helping with onboarding, supporting individual performance, and providing useful feedback. They will also assist with daily target expectations, scheduling, and delegating duties under the guidance of the Business Manager.
The ideal candidate will actively support opportunities to drive sales and customer growth, maintain high store standards, and create an enjoyable working environment, whilst demonstrating a positive attitude with excellent internal and external customer communication skills.

This role is full-time, 5 days/week.
Job Role and Responsibilities
Sales Performance
- Demonstrate good understanding of sales, product knowledge, events, operations, and the retail beauty industry.
- Capture consumer insights, sales trends, and traffic patterns to support planning and optimization, looking for any areas of opportunity.
- Assist in optimizing sales through effective customer experience, product knowledge, and selling techniques.
- Support the review of goals and contribute to strategies to improve sales performance.
- Identify brand opportunities using available tools to support achieving targets.
- Support in the completion of weekly sales reports & monthly commission reports with guidance.

Team Management & Development
- Support a positive, inclusive, and motivated team culture.
- Lead by example with excellent timekeeping, punctuality, and grooming.
- Encourage team members, communicate feedback, and escalate training needs to management.
- Support recruitment, onboarding, and development of the counter team.
- Assist in staff performance management by providing observations and supporting appraisals.
- Manage rotas in collaboration with the Business Manager.
- Resolve internal team issues with support from management.
- Attend all brand product and artistry training.
Customer Experience
- Act as an enthusiastic and responsible brand ambassador.
- Deliver consistent, excellent customer service in collaboration with the team.
- Greet every customer, establish and understand their needs, and provide a high level of professional service.
- Deliver thoughtful and bespoke artistry services and information to customers to ensure they leave informed about the Lisa Eldridge story, values, and products.
- Resolve customer issues with escalation to management if required.
- Support CRM database management and follow-up for appointments and events.
Administration & Operations
- Support Health & Safety compliance and daily operational tasks.
- Assist with point-of-sale accuracy, cash handling, and refunds under guidance.
- Assist in stock management, transfers, and stocktakes as directed.
- Understand the company’s business objectives and brand values and actively support their achievement.
- Maintain counter hygiene and cleanliness standards.
- Follow and implement visual merchandising and display standards under supervision.
- Bring ideas for events or services to the Business Manager.
- Adhere to all operations, company policies, and procedures professionally.
