Supervisor / Team Leader

£28,505.25 per annum, 40 hours per week

Location: Leigh Delamere Services, M4, Chippenham, Wiltshire, SN14 6LB


About the Role

As a supervisor (internally referred to as Team Leader), you’ll be the trusted operational counterpart to your store manager, empowered to run your unit effectively. This is a dynamic role focused on:

  • Being an enthusiastic leader and brand ambassador
  • Delivering Chow’s excellent range of Asian food and exceptional customer service
  • Elevating the UK’s motorway services experience

You’ll drive excellence from the front while supporting team members, customers, and the Store Manager to meet high standards.

Your Responsibilities

Team Leadership & Operations

  • Lead teams to achieve excellent brand standards and customer service
  • Maximise profit by driving sales and controlling costs
  • Process stock counts and allocate orders efficiently

Coaching & Development

  • Partner with the Store Manager in setting targets
  • Spend time with team members for coaching, feedback, and training needs identification

Customer Focus

  • Own and respond to customer feedback promptly and appropriately

Operational Support

  • Assist in ensuring food and refreshments are prepared and ready for servicing customers

What We’re Looking For

  • Previous experience of leading, supervising, or managing teams (highly desirable)
  • A passion for delivering memorable customer experiences
  • Strong communication skills and decision-making confidence
  • Ability to work independently and make reasoned decisions under pressure
