Supervisor - Chow Asian Kitchen

Supervisor (Team Leader) – £28,505.25 per annum (Fixed) - MMotorway Services Base – Chippenham, Wiltshire, SN14 6LB

About the Role

As a supervisor at Chow, you will play a pivotal role as the right-hand partner to your store manager, ensuring smooth operations, exceptional service, and brand excellence. The role calls for an enthusiastic leader, brand ambassador, and customer-focused professional to elevate Chow’s reputation for high-quality Asian food and top-tier service—transforming the UK’s rest stop experience.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Team leadership: Drive performance to maintain
    • High brand standards
    • Outstanding customer service
  • Performance and sales:
    • Maximise profit by
      • Boosting sales
      • Controlling costs
    • Process stock counts and orders
  • Collaboration:
    • Partner with the Store Manager to set and meet team targets
  • Team development:
    • Conduct 1:1 coaching and performance feedback
    • Identify training needs and opportunities
  • Customer experience:
    • Ownership of customer feedback and complaints
    • Ensure timely, appropriate responses
  • Operational support:
    • Help the team with food preparation and refreshments

What You’ll Bring

  • Desired:
    • Previous experience in leading, supervising, or managing teams
  • Essential: A passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences
  • Key skills:
    • Great communication and decision-making abilities
    • Self-motivated; comfortable operating independently and under pressure
  • Between drives:
    • Sites may have no or limited public transport access.
    • Ensure transport suitability for the role before applying.
