Supervisor (Concrete) (Plymouth) – Fulltime

An opportunity to work on our MOD project in Plymouth, delivering major redevelopment works over the coming years.
PAYE basis
Competitive Rate Depending On Experience/qualifications
Paid Holidays: 30 days per year (including bank holidays)
Must Have
- CSCS Blue Skilled Worker Card
- Level 2 NVQ Construction & Civil Engineering Operations – Concrete
- Enrolled on Level 3 NVQ Diploma in Occupational Work Supervision
- SSSTS
- Previous experience supervising concrete works on major construction or infrastructure projects
- Strong knowledge of reinforced concrete operations, formwork and concrete finishing
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications
- Strong understanding of Health & Safety procedures
- Good leadership, communication and organisational skills
- Ability to coordinate labour, plant and materials effectively
- Reliable and proactive approach to work
- Must be eligible for BPSS Security Clearance
- Candidates must hold a passport from a NATO or MISWG member country and have resided in the UK for the past 5 years

This role is site based - Monday to Friday
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise reinforced concrete works and concrete gangs on site
- Coordinate daily work activities to ensure works are completed safely and to programme
- Monitor workmanship and ensure all concrete works meet quality standards
- Liaise with engineers, supervisors and site management to resolve technical issues
- Ensure labour, plant and materials are available to maintain productivity
- Carry out site inspections and maintain quality records
- Deliver toolbox talks and ensure compliance with Health & Safety procedures
- Maintain daily records and progress reports
- Support the successful delivery of major MOD infrastructure works
