Job Description

Title: Supervisor - Edinburgh Boutique

Reports To: Store Manager

Supervisors are instrumental in maintaining Longchamp’s high standards of service and store operations. As floor leaders, they support the boutique team in achieving sales excellence and ensuring smooth, day-to-day execution.

Job Purpose

To assist the management team by overseeing boutique floor activity, leading by example, coaching Sales Assistants, and helping to achieve commercial and operational objectives.

Team Support & Leadership

  • Lead the team on the floor, ensuring exceptional service delivery
  • Mentor and coach Sales Assistants in real-time to elevate client interactions
  • Support onboarding of new team members and provide daily feedback
  • Help maintain team morale and drive performance during shifts

Customer Experience

  • Support complex client needs and resolve concerns with professionalism
  • Uphold Longchamp’s luxury standards in every customer interaction
  • Promote CRM registration, follow-up, and repeat client engagement
  • Reinforce service standards and Clienteling practices throughout the team

Sales & Operations

  • Achieve personal sales targets and support team results
  • Monitor floor activity and KPIs; escalate concerns to management as needed
  • Execute store procedures such as cash handling, stock management, and deliveries
  • Maintain accurate POS transactions and loss prevention practices

Visual Merchandising & Store Presentation

  • Ensure floor is always compliant with brand VM standards
  • Support floor set changes and window refreshes
  • Maintain a clean, organised, and well-stocked sales floor

Skills & Qualifications

  • 2–3 years of experience in premium or luxury retail
  • Demonstrated team leadership or supervisory experience
  • Strong selling skills and client service focus
  • Proficiency in POS systems and retail tools
  • Fluent in English; additional languages an advantage
