Your new company

As part of the team working on a high-profile motorway scheme, you'll contribute to a programme focused on maintaining, improving, and future-proofing one of Scotland's most critical transport routes. Your new role

As a Supervisor on this major motorway project, you will oversee day-to-day site operations, ensuring works are delivered safely, efficiently, and in line with project specifications. You'll coordinate teams, manage subcontractors, monitor progress, and maintain high standards of quality and compliance. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Planning works
  • Conducting site inspections
  • Resolving operational issues
  • Ensuring all activities adhere to strict safety and environmental procedures

You'll play a key role in keeping the project on track and supporting the delivery of essential maintenance and improvement works across the network.

What you'll need to succeed

  • Proven experience in a supervisory role within highways, civil engineering, or infrastructure projects
  • Strong understanding of CDM regulations, site safety, and quality standards
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to coordinate teams and subcontractors
  • Ability to interpret drawings, method statements, and risk assessments
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving and decision-making
  • Relevant industry qualifications (e.g., SSSTS/SMSTS, NRSWA, or equivalent)
  • A commitment to maintaining a safe and compliant working environment
