Supervisor (Ganger/Logistics) (Plymouth) – Fulltime

An opportunity to work on our MOD project in Plymouth, delivering major redevelopment works over the coming years.
PAYE basis
Competitive Rate Depending On Experience/qualifications
Paid Holidays: 30 days per year (including bank holidays)
Must Have
- CSCS Blue Skilled Worker Card
- Enrolled on or achieved Level 3 NVQ Diploma in Occupational Work Supervision
- SSSTS
- Previous experience supervising logistics or construction gangs on major infrastructure projects
- Strong understanding of Health & Safety procedures and site logistics
- Experience coordinating labour, plant, materials and deliveries
- Good communication and leadership skills
- Ability to work effectively with engineers, supervisors and project management
- Strong organisational and problem-solving skills
- Reliable and proactive approach to work
- Must be eligible for BPSS Security Clearance
- Candidates must hold a passport from a NATO or MISWG member country and have resided in the UK for the past 5 years

This role is site based - Monday to Friday
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise logistics operatives and construction gangs on site
- Coordinate daily work activities, labour and site resources
- Ensure safe movement of personnel, plant and materials
- Monitor productivity and maintain programme targets
- Promote and enforce Health & Safety standards at all times
- Liaise with engineers, supervisors and site management to ensure efficient project delivery
- Maintain site records, inspections and daily reports
- Support inductions, toolbox talks and workforce briefings
- Ensure compliance with project procedures and quality standards
- Support the successful delivery of major MOD infrastructure works
