Role Overview: Supervisor – Hourly Rate: £13.81 (Full-time, 40 hours/week)

As a Supervisor, you’ll be crucial in ensuring our store delivers exceptional service, operational efficiency, and brand standards.

Your role includes: ✔ Leading by example—supporting customers and guiding colleagues ✔ Optimising sales performance through effective product placement and team alignment ✔ Maintaining high visual standards, including cleanliness, organisational flow, and brand consistency ✔ Assisting with until operations, cashing up, and daily shop routines

Key Responsibilities

  • Customer-Centric Service: Guarantee excellent JD service by resolving queries, maintaining engagement, and ensuring team presentation aligns with brand standards.
  • Sales & Performance: Monitor service levels, product availability, and visual merchandising to elevate customer experience and revenue.
  • Operational Maintenance: Upkeep of the shop floor—ensure cleanliness, order, and operational readiness for every shift.
  • Store Support: Assist with opening/closing procedures, till management, and cash-handling accuracy as directed by Store Management.

Requirements

Essential: ✅ Previous supervisory or team-leader experience—preferably in fast-paced retail, customer-facing, or wholesale environments ✅ Exceptional communication skills, capable of mentoring colleagues while embodying a customer-first mindset ✅ Sharp attention to detail—ensuring high-level service, presentation, and operational compliance ✅ Passion for the retail industry, with keen product and trend awareness ✅ Alignment with the JD Group’s core values

Desirable: 🔹 Energetic, hands-on leader comfortable in high-pressure environments 🔹 Confident problem-solver with a track record of positive customer resolution 🔹 Interest in visual merchandising, brand alignment, and innovative product displays 🔹 Team player with a supportive, collaborative attitude and positive grace under pressure
