Supervisor of Bakery Production
Supervisor of Bakery Production
Honesty Group is looking for an experienced and hands-on Supervisor of Bakery Production to support the daily operation of our growing bakery department. This is a working supervisory role, with the successful candidate actively involved in the day-to-day production of cakes, buns, traybakes, cookies and sweet bakery products alongside the wider production team. The role combines practical bakery production, team support and product development within a fast-paced hospitality environment. We are looking for someone who enjoys being on the floor, leading by example and maintaining consistently high standards across all products produced. At present, our bakery department is focused on cakes, buns, cookies, traybakes and sweet bakery items rather than traditional viennoiserie production. While we currently source viennoiserie products externally due to production capacity and operational considerations, this is an area we may explore developing internally as the department and business continue to grow.
As part of our continued expansion, Honesty Group will also be opening two new stores in London this August, making this an exciting opportunity to join the business during a key stage of growth and development.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a bakery, production kitchen or commercial baking environment
- Strong knowledge of bakery production and sweet baked goods
- Confident working with cakes, buns, traybakes and cookies
- Experience leading or supervising a team
- Organised and able to manage multiple priorities
- Positive attitude with strong attention to detail
- Passion for quality products and continuous improvement

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.
