Supervisor - Pret A Manger

Supervisor

Salary: £28,500 per annum – 40 hours per week

Location: Leigh Delamere Services, M4, Chippenham, Wiltshire, SN14 6LB

As a supervisor, you will be the strong right arm to your store manager and empowered to run the unit like it’s yours. The role is simple: to be an enthusiastic leader and brand ambassador, delivering Pret A Manger’s freshly made food, organic coffee, and exceptional customer service as we transform the UK’s rest stop experience.

Responsibilities

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Leading your team to achieve and deliver excellent brand standards and customer service
  • Maximising profit by:
    • Driving sales
    • Controlling costs
  • Processing stock counts and orders
  • Partnering with the Store Manager in setting targets for the team
  • Spending time with Team Members to:
    • Provide coaching and feedback
    • Identify training needs
  • Taking ownership of customer feedback, responding appropriately and in a timely manner
  • Supporting the team in preparing food and refreshments

Requirements

You’ll bring the following strengths and experience:

  • Previous experience of leading or supervising a team is highly desirable
  • Passion for delivering a memorable customer experience
  • Great communication skills and the ability to:
    • Make decisions confidently
    • Work on your own initiative
    • Make reasoned decisions under pressure
  • Flexibility and adaptability
