Job Role

Ringway Kent is seeking a proactive and motivated Supervisor to help deliver a range of highway improvement and maintenance schemes across Kent.

Reporting to the Senior Supervisor, you'll play a key role in planning, coordinating, and delivering works safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong operational experience within highways, traffic management, or civil engineering who is passionate about delivering exceptional results and leading teams effectively.

As a Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the delivery of highway schemes, ensuring that all resources, materials, and personnel are in place to achieve successful project outcomes.

Key Responsibilities Include

  • Managing the day-to-day delivery of highway works in line with contract requirements.
  • Ensuring suitable traffic management, plant, labor, and materials are available for all planned works.
  • Monitoring and auditing the quality of completed works.
  • Ensuring Streetworks permits are in place and all activities comply with relevant legislation and regulations.
  • Managing workforce performance and ensuring operatives are competent and suitably trained.
  • Accurately allocating and capturing job costs on a daily basis.
  • Working closely with Kent County Council Highway Engineers and contractor teams throughout design, pre-construction, and delivery phases.
  • Maintaining regular visibility and engagement with operational teams across day and night shifts.
  • Promoting a strong safety culture and positive team morale.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
