Supervisory Assistant (Temporary) – Holden Lane Academy
Position: Supervisory Assistant (Level 2, Actuarial Salary £5,422) | Term Time Only (9.25 hours/week) | Lunchtime Cover
Opportunity:
Holden Lane Academy is seeking a Temporary Supervisory Assistant to join their team for the school year (until 31st August 2027). This role is designed to supervise pupils during lunchtime periods, including both indoor and outdoor areas (dining room, playground and general Academy oversight).
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Ensuring pupil safety and obedience during break/lunch periods
- Supporting lunchtime management tasks
- Assisting with related duties as needed

Requirements
- A proven ability to talk clearly, impart information confidently, and engage well with children, parents, and staff
- Engaging with accountability to create a safe, fun lunchtime environment
- Willingness to commit to term time-based hours only
- Eligibility for DBS checks and disclosure via DBS verification
