About the Role

We are partnering with an award-winning software business seeking a commercially driven Supplier Manager to oversee a strategic portfolio of technology, software, and business service suppliers.
This role is designed for someone who thrives on building long-term partnerships, negotiating commercial agreements, challenging suppliers to exceed expectations, and influencing decisions at a senior level.
Responsibilities
You will act as the commercial owner of key supplier relationships, ensuring maximum value, outstanding service, and enduring commercial benefits are delivered across the business. Key tasks include:
- Building, nurturing, and maintaining trusted relationships with software, SaaS, IT, and business service suppliers
- Leading supplier governance meetings and conducting performance reviews
- Ensuring suppliers meet SLAs, KPIs, and contractual obligations through accountability
- Negotiating contract renewals and securing favourable commercial terms
- Identifying cost-saving opportunities and service improvements
- Managing supplier risk, compliance, and due diligence
- Collaborating closely with Legal, Finance, Technology, and senior leadership
- Driving continuous improvement in supplier management and commercial processes

Requirements & Experience
- Proven expertise in:
- Supplier Management
- Vendor Management
- Supplier Relationship Management
- Vendor Governance
- Commercial Contract Management
- IT/Technology Procurement
- Software Licensing
- SaaS Vendor Management
- Experience in category management
- Strong background in software, technology, SaaS, digital, or IT services environments
- Ability to manage supplier relationships from onboarding through renewal with confidence
