Supplier Oversight Manager
Supplier Oversight Manager – 12-month Fixed Term Contract

About the Role
We are currently recruiting for a Supplier Oversight Manager on a full-time, 12-month fixed term contract. The role sits within our Financial Shared Services team and we are flexible on the location of the role.
Primary Focus
The Supplier Oversight Manager will support the Supplier Management Lead to:
- Manage our supplier management programme for our critical, strategic and key operational suppliers.
- Ensure strong supplier performance, value and innovation to deliver our strategy.
Key Responsibilities
Reporting to the Supplier Management Lead, this role includes:
- Supported adoption of ACCA’s global procurement policies, frameworks and procurement centre of excellence, ensuring:
- Value, innovation and improvement are driving relationships and contracts, currently valued at approximately c£120m annually.
- Identification and management of supplier risk, including:
- Close collaboration with Business Contract Owners and Subject Matter Experts.
- Delivery of quality reviews, compliance checks and understanding of threats, ensuring mitigating actions align with our risk management framework.
- Annual benchmarking of our supplier management programme through:
- A competency-based survey comparing ACCA’s performance against best practice.
- Presentation and incorporation of findings and recommendations from the final report for action.
- Management of reporting and governance:
- Weekly, monthly, and quarterly supplier management dashboards.
- Alignment with procurement oversight and key controls to ensure ongoing continuous improvement.
- Acting as the key point of contact:
- Providing escalation support for business contract owners (including coaching, problem resolution, problem relationship support, and training needs).
- Encouragement of sustainability and compliance through:
- Environmental, social and governance (ESG) assessments for all top suppliers.

Requirements
Qualifications & Commitment
- Studying towards MCIPS or an equivalent qualification.
Experience & Skills
- Demonstrated proved experience in supplier management, sourcing, procurement or ESG procurement.
- Ability to:
- Build and maintain good working relationships, negotiate, and influence across the organisation and ACCA’s critical, strategic, and key operational suppliers.
- Innovate and generate ideas on improving processes and delivery.
- Strong numeracy and analytical skills with the ability to:
- Actively interrogate and present data meaningfully.
- Proficient in Power Automate and Power BI.
- Resilience and adaptability to thrive in a fast-paced, fast-changing, and high-pressure environment.
- Strong organisation, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
