Supplier Oversight Manager

ACCA – Supplier Oversight Manager

We are currently recruiting for a Supplier Oversight Manager on a full-time, 12-month fixed term contract. The role sits within our Financial Shared Services team, and we are flexible on the location of the role.

The Job

The Supplier Oversight Manager’s primary focus will be to support the Supplier Management Lead to manage ACCA’s supplier management programme for critical, strategic, and key operational suppliers, ensuring we succeed in delivering strong supplier performance, value and innovation that enables our strategy.

  • Reporting to the Supplier Management Lead:
    • Support the adoption of ACCA’s global procurement policies, frameworks, and procurement centre of excellence, driving value, innovation, and improvement from supplier relationships and contracts (£120m+ annual spend)
    • Identify and assess top supplier risks, working closely with Business Contract Owners and Subject Matter Experts to:
      • Perform quality reviews
      • Ensure compliance requirements are met
      • Understand key risks
      • Incorporate mitigating actions in line with our risk management framework
    • Collaborate with the Supplier Management Lead to coordinate the annual benchmark of supplier management progress via:
      • A competency-based survey
      • Generating ACCA’s performance vs. best practice
      • Supporting ongoing actions from the final report
    • Manage supplier management reporting (weekly, monthly, quarterly dashboards**, including):
      • Demonstrating continuous improvement in our procurement oversight
      • Reporting against key procurement controls
    • Serve as the primary escalation point of contact for:
      • Business Contract Owners (including coaching, problem relationship resolution, and training)
    • Support evaluation and improvement of environmental, social, and governance (ESG) policies across top suppliers.

The Person

  • Studying towards MCIPS or equivalent qualification
  • Demonstrable experience in supplier management, sourcing, or ESG procurement
  • Ability to:
    • Build strong working relationships (offering both challenge and support)
    • Negotiate and influence across the organisation
    • Collaborate with ACCA’s Critical, Strategic, and key Operational suppliers
  • Strong drive for innovation and continuous improvement in processes
  • Strong numeracy and analytical skills, with ability to:
    • Actively interrogate and present data in a meaningful format
    • Proficiency in Power Automate and Power BI is essential
  • Must be comfortable in a fast-paced, fast-changing, and high-pressure environment
  • Extremely organised, analytical, and resilient to pressure
