Supplier Quality Engineer
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Supplier Quality Engineer to join a growing quality team within a highly regulated manufacturing organisation.
This role is focused on driving supplier quality performance across a global supply chain, working closely with suppliers, engineering teams and manufacturing operations to ensure quality standards are achieved and maintained.
The position would suit someone who enjoys building supplier relationships, conducting audits, solving complex quality issues and leading improvement initiatives within manufacturing environments.
Key Responsibilities Manage supplier quality activities across a global supplier network. Conduct supplier audits and support supplier development programmes. Lead root cause investigations and corrective action activities. Monitor supplier performance metrics and identify improvement opportunities. Support supplier qualification and onboarding processes. Work closely with engineering, operations and supply chain teams. Drive continuous improvement initiatives across the supply base. Support manufacturing quality activities as required.

Experience Experience within Supplier Quality, Quality Engineering or Manufacturing Quality. Experience auditing suppliers within a regulated manufacturing environment. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. Experience managing supplier non-conformances and corrective actions. Ability to influence stakeholders and build effective supplier relationships. Strong communication skills and a proactive approach.

Desirable Experience ISO 13485, ISO 9001 or equivalent quality systems. Internal Auditor qualification. Medical device, defence, aerospace, electronics or automotive manufacturing environments. Supplier development and supplier performance improvement activities.
