Job Purpose
We are currently looking for a Supplier Quality Inspector/Expeditor to join our team. In this role, you will support the timely delivery, development, and surveillance of suppliers in accordance with Company policies, procedures, and department objectives.
Must be willing for regular travel across the UK.
Job Description
Your main accountabilities will be to:
- Identify and lead implementation efforts of Supplier Quality objectives that improve quality, reduce lead time, and cost of TechnipFMC products/services.
- Attend, witness, and hold points on behalf of TechnipFMC, performs inspections at the suppliers as part of source inspection and drop shipment processes.
- Execute Enhanced Surveillance and Expediting processes at the suppliers.
- Contributes in Continuous Improvement initiatives to enhance TechnipFMC processes.
- Conducts HSE walkthroughs and assessments, promotes HSE culture in the supply chain.

You are meant for this job if
Essential
- Substantial industry experience in production, technical, or quality departments
- Time Management - prioritizing business critical issues to ensure agreed delivery dates and terms and maintained ability to manage deadlines/prioritize workload
- Reporting skills
- Good understanding of engineering documentation, ability to read and understand engineering drawings, documents, and procedures to improve and maintain quality and deliverables
- Good organization and project planning skills
- Team player and capable of working on own initiative
- Strong communication skills with an analytical mindset
- Collaborative approach
Desirable
- Working knowledge of MS Office applications and SAP
- Experience in Oil and Gas industry
- NDE, Welding experience, and certifications
- Ability to lead change and independently create and implement functional and cost-effective processes that meet complex specification requirements
