Supply Chain Assistant – Exeter
Isca Recruitment is delighted to be partnering with a thriving, award-winning business on their search for a Supply Chain Assistant based in their Exeter office.

About the Role
As Supply Chain Assistant, you will support the Supply Chain Manager in delivering an effective end-to-end supply chain function, working closely with suppliers, internal teams, and logistics partners.
Key Responsibilities
- Raising, tracking, and expediting multi-currency purchase orders with multiple suppliers.
- Maintaining accurate stock records and providing detailed shipping updates to ensure right product, right time for the business.
- Supporting supplier management, including OTIF (On-Time-In-Full) performance tracking and system updates.
- Assisting with inventory management, ensuring stock levels align with demand and forecasting accuracy.
- Updating and maintaining stock system data to support effective planning.
- Collaborating with operations, finance, and logistics teams to drive business goals.
- Tracking and reporting inbound deliveries to ensure smooth warehouse operations.
- Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives within the supply chain function.

Salary & Benefits
- £30,000 - £35,000 per annum (pro-rata if part-time)
- 25 days holiday + bank holidays
- Pension scheme
- Office-based role (Mon–Fri, 8:30am – 5:00pm)
About You
We’re looking for a supply chain enthusiast who is:
- Confident, communicative, and proactive with a growth mindset.
- Detail-oriented with strong planning and data analysis skills.
- Highly organised, able to prioritise effectively under pressure.
- Analytical with strong IT skills—preferably knowledgeable in Sage 200 and/or Netstock.
- Eager to learn, with an interest (or existing studies) in CIPS (Chartered Institute of Procurement & Supply).
- Experience with continuous improvement methodologies (Six Sigma, Lean) is highly desirable.
