Supply Chain Coordinator

Your new role As part of a wider supply chain team, you’ll be working alongside both the procurement and supply chain department where you’ll have the opportunity to work for a market leading company whilst gaining valuable skills and experience to ensure you develop to your full potential. DUTIES: Support the Head of Supply Chain in the continual development, management, and improvement of the supply chain function. Manage the relationship with multiple supply chain partners by gathering, and sharing with wider business stakeholders, the benefits of working with them; not limited to delivery, quality, innovation, health & safety, sustainability, and social value. Attend construction project sites, to support project site teams, through facilitating engagement with preferred suppliers & manufacturers into their business process. Work with multiple business functions, such as estimating & design, supporting them in delivering their business goals and identifying opportunities for Robertson preferred supply chain partners. Track supply chain spend through extracting data from multiple ERP systems and other sources. Carry out ongoing performance evaluation and development of key supply chain partners, sharing outputs with key stakeholders as required. Manage the timely production and issue of supply chain reports to relevant areas of the business. Keep abreast of, and capture, market insight through engagement with the supply chain, attendance at trade shows, networking, and inclusion in industry wide forums. QUALIFICATIONS/RELEVANT INDUSTRIAL EXPERIENCE: Qualified to HNC, Level 4 CIPS or equivalent experience, The role will require previous understanding of supply chain management processes within a like related environment, The role will require experience at project level within supply chain including developing innovative supply chain solutions, supply chain principles, procedures methods, performance measurement and improvement tools & techniques, financial analysis, The individual will need to be flexible in their approach, balance workload demands by managing their time effectively, and positively communicate effectively at all levels, The role will require excellent analytical and IT skills, strong commercial awareness, a measured approach to decision making and the ability to balance internal/external customer focus.
