Supply Chain Coordinator

Job Description Summary

STEMCELL Technologies is looking for a Supply Chain Coordinator to join our European Supply Chain team!

As the Supply Chain Coordinator, you will be responsible for supporting inventory management, material handling, kitting, logistics related to the instrumentation manufacturing operations, as well as handling shipping and receiving activities at the Waterbeach Cambridge site. You will play a critical role in ensuring smooth day-to-day supply chain operations by maintaining accurate stock control, supporting production requirements, coordinating inbound and outbound logistics, and contributing to continuous operational efficiency.

Job Description

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Receive, inspect, label and process incoming materials and components in the ERP system while ensuring accurate documentation and traceability for all UK site deliveries
  • Prepare and manage traceable manufacturing kits, ensuring materials are available to support production schedules and resolving material-related issues in coordination with manufacturing teams
  • Maintain accurate inventory records through ERP transactions, cycle counts, stock audits, and Kanban replenishment processes to support operational continuity
  • Prepare finished goods for shipment, manage packaging requirements, generate shipping documentation, and coordinate goods-out activities for the UK site
  • Support non-conformance processes and ensure adherence to QMS, 5S, and health & safety standards. Act as ERP support backup to the Senior Supply Chain Specialist and contribute to system-related activities and process improvements

Knowledge and Qualifications

  • 2–4 years of experience in supply chain operations, ideally within a manufacturing or warehouse environment
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to work accurately and methodically
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks effectively
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Good computer literacy and experience using ERP systems

The annual salary for this job ranges from:

£32,000.00 - £43,400.00

STEMCELL determines an individual’s pay within the range based on multiple factors including experience, education, job-related skills, and equity within the team or organization. For jobs that are eligible for sales incentives, the range noted above is inclusive of target incentives; actual incentives are based on individual performance results in accordance with company policy. In addition to base salary, STEMCELL offers a comprehensive total rewards package that may include health benefits, retirement savings, and more (depending on region).
