Supply Chain Coordinator
The Harley Street Clinic, London
Full time, 37.5 hours per week
Monday – Friday (shifts between 07:00 and 17:00)
Permanent
Salary: £28,860 per annum plus excellent benefits
We’re looking for a Supply Chain Coordinator to join our Materials team based at The Harley Street Clinic. As one of the UK’s leading private hospitals, The Harley Street Clinic delivers world-class care across a range of complex specialties, supported by a dedicated operational infrastructure that keeps services running seamlessly behind the scenes. Our Materials team plays a crucial role in ensuring clinicians and departments have timely access to the products, equipment and consumables they need to deliver outstanding patient care.
Working at the heart of the hospital’s supply chain operation, you’ll help maintain the flow of essential stock throughout the hospital, ensuring our teams can focus on what matters most – our patients. As a Supply Chain Coordinator, you’ll be responsible for managing the receipt, storage and distribution of goods across the hospital, helping to maintain accurate inventory levels and supporting the wider Supply Chain team.
This is a varied and hands-on role where no two days are the same. From coordinating deliveries and managing stock levels to liaising with suppliers and supporting key inventory processes, you'll play an important role in maintaining operational excellence.
If you enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, have a keen eye for detail and take pride in delivering a high-quality service, this is an excellent opportunity to develop your career within a leading healthcare organisation. Above all else, we’re committed to the care and improvement of human life. It’s this guiding vision that influences everything we do at HCA UK. From the CEO to the colleagues on the floor we all have a part to play in delivering exceptional care to our patients. Other’s may think this is just a role in our Materials team, but to us, you’ll be part of a wider team with a unique sense of purpose, one that helps improve lives on a daily basis.
What you’ll do:
- Support the day-to-day operations of the Supply Chain team, ensuring wards and departments receive the materials and products they need.
- Manage goods receipting processes, checking deliveries and ensuring products are accurately received and allocated to the correct departments.
- Receive, check and replenish materials management stock, identifying and reporting any discrepancies promptly.
- Carry out accurate inventory cycle counts and stock control activities to maintain agreed stock levels across the hospital.
- Liaise with suppliers regarding product recalls, returns and delivery issues, while supporting monthly, quarterly and annual stock counts.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
