Description
We are looking for a detail-oriented Supply Chain Coordinator to support logistics and purchasing operations for a construction-focused organization in Avon, Minnesota. This Long-term Contract position is well suited for someone who learns new systems quickly, enjoys administrative and data-driven work, and can help keep equipment-related processes accurate and organized. The role contributes to daily supply chain activities by managing transactions, supporting invoice processing, preparing reports, and assisting internal teams with equipment and purchasing information.
Responsibilities
- Process equipment-related entries and maintain accurate transaction records within internal systems.
- Review, code, and submit vendor invoices to support timely coordination of payments with Accounts Payable.
- Enter purchase order information promptly and verify data accuracy in JD Edwards (E1).
- Prepare recurring logistics and equipment reports by gathering information from systems such as E1, Insight, and Excel.
- Build spreadsheet-based reports, including charts and graphs, to present equipment and cost data clearly.
- Support cost tracking activities by helping analyze equipment expenses, usage charges, and forecasted account needs.
- Set up equipment rate information and monitor rental equipment details in the system.
- Respond to questions from job sites and internal departments regarding equipment records, reporting, and related issues.
- Partner with logistics leadership, equipment coordinators, and warehouse personnel to support inventory tracking and daily operational needs.
- Assist with cross-training, shared departmental tasks, and other assigned logistics support duties as needed.

Requirements
- At least 2 years of experience in supply chain, logistics, purchasing support, or a related administrative role.
- Background in accounting or invoice reconciliation is preferred.
- Strong proficiency with Microsoft Excel, including creating reports, charts, and graphs from imported data.
- Experience using Microsoft Office applications and familiarity with JD Edwards (E1) or similar ERP systems.
- Ability to enter, review, and compile data with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively across departments.
- Detail-oriented discretion and the ability to handle sensitive departmental information confidentially.
