Supply Chain Coordinator Role
(This is a UK, site based office role, please only apply if you have the right to work in the UK and can commute to Paddock Wood daily).
We have an opportunity for you to join our team in Paddock Wood as a Supply Chain Coordinator, you would be responsible for ensuring that customer orders are fulfilled and stock used in the most efficient way and to provide support to the commercial team regarding the various stages of the supply chain. Participating in continual improvement projects that will help drive success in our commercial and operational functions. This job may have a combination of the accountabilities or may focus on one area of the supply chain.
Supply chain is our Air traffic control tower, where you will be the crucial link between the commercial and operational teams, making and adjusting plans to match our stock to production plans and customer demand. Liaising with sales, procurement, technical and operations, this is great opportunity to see all aspects of the cut and thrust of our day-to-day business. Our Perfect Supply Chain Coordinator Would Have
- High Attention to detail, with the ability to self organise and prioritise daily tasks, under time pressure.
- Problem solving skills to balance customer requirements with operational limitations and, where needed, offer alternative solutions.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
- Ability to build rapport with customers through good understanding of our stock position and ability to anticipate risks and opportunities.
- Able to carry out detailed analysis and present in a way that is easily understood throughout the business.
- Strong organisational skills, time management, self-motivation and organisation are also essential qualities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel, and ability to analyse data is required.

Desirable
- Experience of working in the fresh produce industry especially Avocados & Stone Fruit.
- Fluent in a second language is advantageous but not essential.
The Hours You Would Work
- Monday to Friday 7am – 4pm (40hrs per week)
- You may also be required to work 1 in 3 weekends as per the needs of the business.
