Supply Chain Coordinator

As a Supply Chain Coordinator, you will manage and streamline the logistics operations, ensuring the timely and efficient delivery of products. By optimising inventory levels, coordinating with suppliers, and implementing effective supply chain strategies, you will enhance Greene King’s operational efficiency and reduce costs. Additionally, you will support your team by fostering collaboration, sharing best practices, and providing assistance when needed. Your efforts will contribute to a cohesive and high-performing supply chain team.

Job Location: St Edmunds Distribution Centre, Suffolk Park, Fortress Way, Bury Saint Edmunds IP32 7FQ, UK

Your role as Supply Chain Coordinator will include:

  • Developing strong relationships across business functions to identify and drive change projects & standardisation.
  • Collaborating with internal depots and external teams to deliver industry-leading service in food, non-food, and drink distribution—tracking KPIs and championing continuous improvement.
  • Sourcing & analysing data from multiple sources to produce meaningful performance analytics.
  • Directing key events throughout the year by coordinating between depots and other business units.

Requirements

  • Background or practical experience in a logistics environment, ideally within a food or drink-led organisation.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Experience in ensuring service KPIs, along with driving continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365, with a focus on Excel & PowerPoint.
