Senior Manager – Supply Chain Finance FP&A

About the Role
Reporting to the Supply Chain Finance Director, this Senior Manager position secures and drives end-to-end Supply Chain Finance FP&A, including strategic planning and financial governance. You will lead performance management, decision support, capital investments, transfer pricing, product costing, and logistics finance—delivering financial intelligence to optimise cost, margin, and investment performance across:
- Manufacturing sites
- Logistics operations
- Central Supply Chain functions
You will:
- Lead a centralised team of three managers
- Set direction, priorities, and standards with global alignment
- Partner with business leaders and external stakeholders
- Ensure high-quality outputs, robust controls, transparent business insights
What Will You Achieve?
People & Business Partnering
- Provide strategic financial leadership to the Supply Chain leadership, enabling data-driven decision-making.
- Build and sustain trusted relationships with Finance, Logistics, and Supply Chain stakeholders to mitigate risks and drive performance.
- Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing Supply Chain Finance team—cultivating accountability, ownership, and agility.

Supply Chain FP&A, Performance & Insight
- Own budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and performance management for manufacturing, logistics, and Supply Chain functions.
- Deliver clear, high-quality financial visibility on cost drivers, productivity, and variance analysis.
- Support UK&I and Group objectives through actionable financial insights.
Capital Investment, Costing & Pricing
- Govern and advance capital projects—from business case development to post-implementation tracking.
- Ensure robust product costing and transfer pricing methodologies, providing insights into financial performance and margining.
Financial Control & Continuous Improvement
- Establish standards for financial controls, governance, and compliance.
- Champion efficiency and simplification of financial processes across Supply Chain Finance.
- Serve as the senior escalation contact for financial risks and compliance issues.
What Will Make You Succeed?
Essential Requirements
- A CIMA, ACA, or ACCA qualification, complemented by exceptional FMCG experience (Food & Drink preference).
- Proven financial control & audit expertise, with strong risk awareness.
- Confidence to challenge the status quo and influence senior stakeholders.
- Demonstrated project management and leadership in business-critical initiatives.
- Articulate communicator with proven teamwork capability—showcasing ability to build cross-functional credibility.
- Vast experience with standard costing & variance analysis essential.
- Track record of internal/external audit engagement, including financial risk assessments.
- Skilful in granular financial modelling, analysis, and investment appraisal.
- Advanced Microsoft Office (especially Excel and PowerPoint)—SAP experience and scalability a must.
