About the Role
As a Supply Chain Finance Analyst, you will collaborate with the Senior Finance Manager Procurement and Procurement Finance Business Partner, alongside peers across Supply Chain Finance, to support:
- Control, accounting, and governance of Prime cost accounting for Great Britain and Ireland
- Month-end close processes
- Reporting and balance sheet reconciliations
- Standard costing (annual and BAU) and transfer pricing integrity for other business units

Key Responsibilities
Financial Governance & Process Improvement
- Ensure robust financial controls and governance across Supply Chain Finance
- Document, standardise, and improve key financial processes (Standard Costing, Transfer Pricing, Supply Chain Process Accounting, Month-End Close, Balance Sheet Reconciliations)
- Contribute to budgeting and forecasting, identifying risks and opportunities
Financial Reporting & Analysis
- Execute monthly financial reporting, including journal postings, accruals, reconciliations, and variance analysis
- Support standard cost calculations for products, co-packed items, and new developments
- Partner with Finance, Supply Chain, and Procurement to align business performance with financial decisions
Automation & Process Efficiency
- Identify opportunities to streamline processes, enhance controls, and improve financial reporting quality
- Work with FP&A teams to translate Supply Chain Finance budgets into operational performance measures
Audit & Compliance
- Assist in internal and external audits, risk management, and compliance activities
- Provide cover for Procurement Finance Business Partner as needed
- Drive ad hoc projects and business initiatives

Experience & Qualifications
Requirements
- Previous finance/accounting experience, with a focus on cost control, financial reporting, and analysis
- Ideally within Supply Chain, Manufacturing, or FMCG environments
- Strong technical accounting knowledge, including:
- Month-end close (journals, accruals, reconciliations, P&L analysis)
- ACCA qualification (qualified, part-qualified, or studying equivalent)
- Advanced Excel skills for financial data manipulation and analysis
- Highly organised with exceptional attention to detail

- Clear verbal and written communication for financial information
