Purchasing & Supply Chain Manager
An ambitious and rapidly growing food manufacturing business is seeking a Purchasing & Supply Chain Manager to take ownership of its end-to-end supply chain function. Working closely with the founders and operations team, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring materials, inventory, and production planning processes support the next phase of growth.

With a strong reputation for quality, sustainability, and authenticity, the company has experienced significant growth in recent years and is now entering an exciting scale-up phase, supplying a growing customer base across the UK market.
Description
- Managing purchasing and supplier relationships across both UK and international supply chains.
- Placing and tracking purchase orders, managing lead times, and ensuring continuity of supply.
- Working closely with international suppliers, logistics providers, and customs partners to coordinate imports and deliveries.
- Taking ownership of stock accuracy, inventory management, and warehouse replenishment processes.
- Supporting production planning through effective demand forecasting and inventory analysis.
- Identifying and implementing cost-saving and continuous improvement initiatives across purchasing and operations.
- Managing and optimizing ERP and inventory management systems, with a focus on driving efficiencies through automation and process improvement.
- Developing KPI reports, dashboards, and performance metrics to provide meaningful business insights.
- Presenting supply chain analysis and recommendations to senior leadership.

Profile
The ideal candidate will be a hands-on supply chain professional who enjoys operating within a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment. You will demonstrate:
- Proven experience within food manufacturing, FMCG, or food operations.
- Strong purchasing, inventory management, and production planning expertise.
- Fluency in both Spanish and English, with the ability to communicate directly with international suppliers.
- Advanced Excel capabilities, including building models, reports, and dashboards from scratch.
- Experience using ERP, WMS, or inventory management systems, ideally Cin7 Core or similar platforms.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
- Knowledge of warehouse operations, stock control, and supply chain best practice.
- A proactive, solutions-focused mindset with the confidence to take ownership and drive improvements.

Job Offer
- Salary of £45,000 - £55,000 depending on experience.
- 10% discretionary bonus linked to performance.
