Supply Chain Manager – Indirect Procurement & Corporate Services

About the Role
The Supply Chain Manager – Indirect Procurement & Corporate Services plays a pivotal role in executing procurement strategy, managing supplier performance, and ensuring the seamless delivery of indirect goods and services over the entire scope of TEKEVER UK’s operations. You will oversee corporate services and facilities management, including:
- Infrastructure leasing & utilities
- Hard/soft FM (maintenance, cleaning, security)
- Telecoms & IT
- Professional services
- Waste management & environmental services
- NEC-based and other service contracts
Your responsibilities include ensuring operational continuity, cost efficiency, regulatory compliance, and hands-on support for direct procurement activities, aligning with growing production demands.
As a bridge between facilities, finance, legal, IT, and operations teams, you will balance procurement execution with strategic category and supplier management, guaranteeing service quality, cost control, and sustained stakeholder alignment.
Key Responsibilities
Indirect Procurement & Corporate Services
- Execute procurement across:
- Facilities management (hard & soft)
- Infrastructure leasing & utilities
- Cleaning, security, maintenance contracts
- Telecoms & IT services
- Waste/environmental services, sustainability contracts
- Professional services, consultancy & NEC-based contracts
- End-to-end procurement lifecycle responsibilities:
- Demand intake → Specification development
- RFQ/RFP generation & supplier selection
- Commercial negotiation → Contract award
- Supplier onboarding & contract mobilisation
- Seamlessly ensure service continuity & SLAs across providers
- Deliver cost savings through:
- Competitive sourcing
- Contract negotiations
- Demand management & value optimisation
- Develop and implement category strategies for key indirect spend areas

Supplier Management & Strategic Governance
- Manage strategic & operational relationships with service suppliers, contractors and partners
- Monitor supplier performance using KPIs such as:
- SLA compliance & responsiveness
- Cost performance & service quality
- Health & safety (HSE) + environment compliance
- Lead onboarding due diligence (*e.g. – ISO9001, ISO14001, ISO27001 certification requirements)
- administer NEC & service-based contracts ensuring commercial/compliance adherence
- Drive performance improvement and conflict resolution with internal stakeholders
- Support supplier risk management, disaster recovery, and continuity planning
Support to Direct Procurement
- Flexible procurement support to direct purchasing activities:
- PO management – (temps to contracts & negotiation)
- Supplier expediting & coordination
- Component/materials sourcing for engineering/operations alignment
Financial & Compliance Oversight
- Track indirect spend vs. budget, improve cost optimisation
- Conduct detailed spend analysis across corporate services
- Maintain compliance with:
- Procurement policies, finance approvals
- Contractual and regulatory health / safety compliance
- Internal fraud control frameworks
Process Improvement & Systems
- Collaborate with finance, IT and operations to enhance procurement methodology
- Manage robust supply base records (ERP/MRP systems like SAP, IFS, or similar)
- Contribute to procurement system upgrades & process enhancements
Risk Management & Governance
- Risk assessment for service contractors & procurement continuity safeguards
- Enable supplier audits & compliance monitoring
- Contribute towards third-party risk assessments (financial/operational due diligence)

Experience & Qualification Requirements
Essential Competencies
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in:
- Indirect procurement or facilities management sourcing
- (preferably within regulated high-by-need environments: defence, aero, manufacturing)
- Proven ability to manage service/measurement contracts & suppliers (e.g. cleaning, utilities, security, maintenance)
- Strong operational procurement background including:
- RFQ provide + negotiation
- Purchase order lifecycle administration
- Supplier partnerships + change management
- Experience ERP/MRP systems: SAP, IFS, Dynamics 365, Odoo (or equivalent)
- Understanding of contract frameworks (NEC included)
- Commercial expertise: negotiation, cost monitoring, pricing models
- Ability to multitask under pressure and interpret technical/legal contracting elements
Desirable Knowledge
- NEC contracting experience (or other construction/service-based frameworks)
- Waste sustainability & compliance expertise
- Ability to analyse or implement cost modelling & TCO principles
- CIPS certification (or in progress)
