Your activities

  • Lead the selection, management, and performance of the supplier relationship.
  • Negotiation of NDA's, LTA's and T&C's with suppliers.
  • Monitor supplier pricing, quality, and delivery performance, addressing any under performance.
  • Develop and manage supplier scheduling to support customer demands.
  • Manage scheduling and purchase order processes within ERP system.
  • Prioritise and complete tasks in accordance with commitments to support business and customer expectations.
  • Work in accordance with the Quality Management System and Employee Handbook.
  • Complete ERP system tasks to ensure material traceability is maintained.
  • Take responsibility for the leadership and prioritisation of the supply chain priorities.
  • Lead the development of supply chain to support business road map.

Your profile

  • Bachelor's degree engineering discipline or equivalent education.
  • Strong creative and innovative problem-solving capability.
  • Ability to build and foster professional relationships.
  • Experience in managing supply chain activities in ERP software tools.
  • Ability to write high quality communications and understand technical reports.
  • Able to communicate effectively across all levels in a cross-disciplinary environment.
  • Coaching and development of colleagues.
  • Change Management experience for implementation of continuous improvement.
  • Broad view on developing technologies and opportunities.

Desirable experience:

  • Strong technical and practical understanding of manufacturing processes, such as welding, brazing, bonding, polishing and etching, working with laser light sources.
  • Ability to lead root cause analysis and problem-solving activities.
  • Experience of working with and processing optical fibres.
  • Technical understanding and experience of designing optical devices.
