Your activities
- Lead the selection, management, and performance of the supplier relationship.
- Negotiation of NDA's, LTA's and T&C's with suppliers.
- Monitor supplier pricing, quality, and delivery performance, addressing any under performance.
- Develop and manage supplier scheduling to support customer demands.
- Manage scheduling and purchase order processes within ERP system.
- Prioritise and complete tasks in accordance with commitments to support business and customer expectations.
- Work in accordance with the Quality Management System and Employee Handbook.
- Complete ERP system tasks to ensure material traceability is maintained.
- Take responsibility for the leadership and prioritisation of the supply chain priorities.
- Lead the development of supply chain to support business road map.
Your profile
- Bachelor's degree engineering discipline or equivalent education.
- Strong creative and innovative problem-solving capability.
- Ability to build and foster professional relationships.
- Experience in managing supply chain activities in ERP software tools.
- Ability to write high quality communications and understand technical reports.
- Able to communicate effectively across all levels in a cross-disciplinary environment.
- Coaching and development of colleagues.
- Change Management experience for implementation of continuous improvement.
- Broad view on developing technologies and opportunities.

Desirable experience:
- Strong technical and practical understanding of manufacturing processes, such as welding, brazing, bonding, polishing and etching, working with laser light sources.
- Ability to lead root cause analysis and problem-solving activities.
- Experience of working with and processing optical fibres.
- Technical understanding and experience of designing optical devices.
