Supply Chain Manager-Transitions
Supply Chain Manager – Transitions (Remote UK-Based)
Location Fully remote (UK-based), with flexibility to travel when required
About the Role Eaton’s Aerospace business is a global leader in advanced aerospace systems and components, serving commercial and military aircraft manufacturers, engine builders, and defence organisations worldwide. Our products—ranging from fuel, hydraulic, and air management solutions to motion control, engine, and electrical power systems—play a critical role in safety, reliability, and operational excellence for some of the world’s most advanced aircraft.
As a Supply Chain Manager – Transitions, you’ll lead complex supply chain transition projects across Eaton’s global manufacturing network, ensuring seamless transitions while maintaining supply continuity, minimising risks, and driving excellence in project execution.
Responsibilities
- Lead major transition projects—once approved through gate review—ensuring delivery against scope, schedule, and business objectives.
- Manage high-stakes transitions, including:
- Supplier-to-supplier transfers
- Emergency supplier exits
- In-sourcing and out-sourcing initiatives
- Factory relocations and inter-plant product transfers
- Reduce transition timelines while upholding supply chain continuity and compliance with customer, regulatory, and internal standards.
- Develop and maintain integrated master plans and project schedules using best-practice project management processes.
- Conduct critical path analysis, assess schedule impacts, and create recovery plans to support successful project execution.
- Assist program and project managers with reporting, delivering data for customer and leadership reviews.
- Design and maintain project scorecards and dashboards, providing real-time visibility into project health, risks, milestones, and actions required.
- Forecast resource needs and resolve constraints across cross-functional teams.
- Collaborate closely with Supply Chain, Operations, Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing, and Program Management to drive project success.
- Mentor team members in project planning and scheduling best practices.
- Act as a voting member in Divisional Gate Reviews, ensuring adherence to Eaton’s governance and stage-gate requirements.
- Contribute to broader business initiatives to support reliable, on-time program execution.

Requirements
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution
- Proven experience in Purchasing, Procurement, Materials Management, or Supply Chain
- ERP and planning system expertise, including familiarity with Oracle, SAP, MFG/Pro, Kinaxis, and/or Enovia (PLM)
- Aerospace manufacturing experience preferred but not required
Skills
- Strong project management, planning, and scheduling abilities
- Exceptional communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills
- Outstanding analytical and problem-solving capabilities
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate cross-functionally, influence decisions, and foster influence across teams
