The Role
We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Supply Chain & Operations Manager to support the day-to-day running of our ecommerce supply chain and fulfilment operations.
This is a hands-on, developmental role suited to someone stepping up from a coordinator or analyst position, with responsibility for shipment coordination, carrier support, returns processing, and operational administration. You will work closely with senior team members to ensure smooth operations while building your experience across supply chain and ecommerce.
Key Responsibilities
Freight & Shipment Coordination
- Coordinate daily shipments with carriers and freight forwarders
- Track orders in transit and provide updates to internal teams
- Escalate delivery delays or issues to senior team members
- Ensure shipping documentation and data are accurate
- Maintain shipment logs and support reporting

Carrier Coordination & Setup Support
- Assist in setting up carrier services within systems (WMS/OMS)
- Maintain carrier data, service options, and basic rate information
- Support testing of shipping labels, tracking links, and service configurations
- Act as first-line support for carrier-related operational issues
- Escalate integration or system issues to relevant teams
Returns Processing
- Support the coordination and processing of customer returns
- Ensure returned orders are logged and processed correctly
- Work with warehouse teams on restocking and product checks
- Maintain returns data and support reporting on volumes and trends
- Flag recurring issues or high return rates to management
Ecommerce Operations Support
- Assist with daily order fulfilment and dispatch activities
- Monitor order queues and help resolve basic operational issues
- Liaise with warehouse/3PL teams to ensure orders are processed on time
- Support preparation for peak trading periods and promotions
- Ensure adherence to defined processes and service levels
Reporting & Administration
- Maintain operational trackers and ensure data accuracy
- Produce basic reports on shipments, returns, and fulfilment
- Support KPI tracking (e.g., dispatch times, delivery performance)
- Assist in documenting processes and standard operating procedures

Team & Stakeholder Support
- Collaborate with customer service teams to resolve delivery and returns queries
- Communicate with logistics partners on day-to-day operational matters
- Provide updates to senior team members on issues and performance
Skills & Experience
- 1–3 years’ experience in logistics, supply chain, or ecommerce operations
- Good general understanding of shipping and carrier processes
- Familiarity with Power BI or similar tools for tracking and reporting
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- Good communication skills and willingness to learn
- Able to work in a fast-paced, operational environment
- Exposure to WMS, OMS, or 3PL environments
- Interest in developing a career in supply chain
