About the Company
RDi employs cutting-edge production techniques to refine the process of managing sensitive data, messaging, IVD kitting and fulfilment.
MAIN PURPOSE OF JOB
Responsible for overseeing and planning of production to ensure resource capacity and stock are always available to meet product and manufacturing demand, coordinating with various departments, manufacturing sites and suppliers. Managing inventory, forecast and capacity planning, scheduling and stock movements. Work with internal teams and suppliers to streamline manufacturing and kitting processes, ensuring that all products meet the required standard
Duties and Responsibilities
- Plan both short- and long-term to align supply and demand to support inventory needs
- Project forward-looking inventory positions and financial implications
- Manage and control stock levels to ensure continuous manufacturing and kitting.
- Conduct regular inventory audits and reconcile any discrepancies.
- Manage allocated LOTs in production and request stock call-offs to keep pick list at optimal level for continuous kitting.
- Coordinate with the warehouse team to manage expiry dates of stock items to ensure expired stock is kept to a minimum.
- Plan and schedule all manufacturing and kitting activity accordingly to achieve 100% on-time delivery.
- Adhering to supplier lead times, manage, and plan capacity loadings, adjusting based on changes in demand patterns and report resource requirements to the Production Director.
- Liaise with Client services and advise any scheduling discrepancies or delays
- Report daily/weekly/monthly productivity to senior management
- Analyse productivity reports and identify manufacture improvements and efficiencies.
- Coordinate manufacturing across all sites and departments for maximum production and logistic efficiencies.
- Produce relevant traceability documents and submit to production for stock picking and quality control.
- Set preferred stock levels and prevent excess inventory
- Manage relationships with key suppliers to maintain quality of goods, timely delivery and compliance to terms of the client contracts.
- Keep obsolescence to a minimum and report monthly to include Expiry Dates parameters.
- Report and record cost saving initiatives to Procurement Manager.
