Job Description
We are thrilled to be recruiting on behalf of an innovative company that is revolutionizing the integration of android technology into society. We are seeking a skilled and experienced Supply Chain Planner / Buyer to join their dynamic Supply Chain team. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for the strategic planning of all commodity volumes (e.g., parts, consumables) for short-, medium-, and long-term needs in their ERP system, and you will take over sourcing for specific commodity groups.
Role: Supply Chain Planner / Buyer
As a Supply Chain Planner / Buyer, you will play a key role in ensuring the seamless orchestration of supply chains that drive efficiency and quality. You will work closely with suppliers from around the globe and manage the entire sourcing process for particular parts, commodities, and equipment. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to a historic production scaling journey and become the central figure in managing commodity volumes at every stage.

- Own the planning functionality of the ERP system (Odoo).
Roadmap
- Within the first month: Familiarize yourself with the product portfolio and various teams, get an overview of current supplier relationships, and gain user knowledge of ERP and internal accounting systems.
- Within three months: Take over demand planning across all commodities, fully own the sourcing of particular commodities/parts, and be the primary contact for internal stakeholders regarding order status.
- Within one year: Operate a robust and reliable supply chain delivering high-quality parts on cost and on time, and develop deep relationships with suppliers for transparent, win-win negotiations.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Sales, Production Engineering, Production Operations, R&D) to forecast demand accurately and align the supply chain with volume requirements.
- Set delivery targets, monitor supplier performance, identify delays and issues, and manage inventory levels.
- Manage the sourcing of certain commodities required for production, OTS parts, or equipment.
- Develop and implement inventory strategies to optimize stock levels, minimize carrying costs, and maintain sufficient supply to support production schedules.
- Utilize the company's ERP system to manage procurement, inventory, and other supply chain processes.
- Implement and document processes to bridge gaps between supply chain, warehouse, and manufacturing.

Must-Haves
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Proven experience in supply chain planning and procurement, preferably in a manufacturing or technology-driven environment.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in similar roles.
- Excellent analytical abilities and attention to detail.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic team environment.
Nice-To-Haves
- Strong knowledge and experience with the Odoo ERP system (v16 or v17).
- Experience with complex electro-mechanical hardware products, ideally components used in robotic systems.
- Strong negotiation skills with a track record of securing advantageous supplier contracts globally.
