Supply Chain Process Manager

This role plays a pivotal part in translating business strategy into scalable, governable, and automation‑ready end‑to‑end processes that deliver measurable outcomes. Reporting to the Director, Supply Chain Process & Digital Transformation, this position bridges strategy, operations, and digital enablement to ensure process change creates sustained business value. How you will make an impact: Design and evolve end‑to‑end Supply Chain process architecture (Tier 1–4) aligned to business outcomes and transformation priorities Translate strategic objectives such as growth, cost‑to‑serve reduction, and resilience into executable process designs and operating models Define clear business rules, decision logic, handoffs, and controls that enable orchestration and automation Lead business process design for enterprise workflow and business process management (BPM) platforms such as Pega Partner with Supply Chain, Information Technology (IT), and architecture teams to ensure business intent is accurately implemented Establish and monitor process performance metrics to drive prioritization, continuous improvement, and value realization Enable a shift from functional silos to end‑to‑end process ownership across the Supply Chain The must haves: 5–8+ years of experience in process management, business process transformation, operational excellence, or digital enablement Hands‑on experience with BPM, workflow, or orchestration platforms (Pega strongly preferred; Appian, ServiceNow, Camunda, or equivalent) Proven ability to translate business strategy and operational objectives into executable process designs Experience partnering closely with IT and technology teams on digital implementations Strong end‑to‑end process design skills with the ability to operate beyond functional silos Ability to clearly articulate business rules, decision logic, and workflows Bachelor’s degree in Business, Operations, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field Nice to haves: Supply Chain domain experience across planning, order management, procurement, fulfillment, logistics, or service supply chain Experience supporting enterprise process orchestration or workflow enablement initiatives Familiarity with process performance measurement, automation coverage, and exception management Certifications in Lean, Six Sigma, Business Process Management (BPM), or process improvement disciplines Experience contributing to reusable standards, templates, and process design best practices Comfort operating in ambiguous, evolving transformation environments Pay Range: The annual pay range for this position in Canada is $71, 800 - $114, 800 Pay ranges at Ciena are designed to accommodate variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions, and locations, reflecting our diverse products, industries, and lines of business. Please note that the pay range information provided in this posting pertains specifically to the primary location, which is the top location listed in case multiple locations are available. Non-Sales employees may be eligible for a discretionary incentive bonus, while Sales employees may be eligible for a sales commission.
