Supply Chain Risk Manager
Supplier Risk & Qualification Manager (Fixed Contract, 6 Months)

This is a 6-month fixed contract position.
Role Purpose
Lead the day-to-day management of Supplier Risk & Qualification activities to ensure suppliers are assessed, approved, and monitored in line with Arcadis’s policies and risk appetite. Based in Europe, the role involves:
- Engaging with stakeholders across North America, Europe, and APAC
- Overseeing Supplier Risk & Qualification operations delivered through the Global Shared Service Centre in Manila
- Ensuring consistent application of supplier onboarding, due diligence, and risk management processes to support business operations while protecting Arcadis from regulatory, financial, operational, and reputational risks.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the end-to-end supplier qualification and risk assessment processes, including:
- Escalation management, due diligence, risk reviews, approvals, and documentation in accordance with policies
- Serve as the final escalation point for high-risk or complex supplier cases:
- Coordinate with cross-functional experts (Legal, Compliance, Information Security, ESG) for timely resolutions
- Manage and develop the Supplier Risk & Qualification team in the Global Shared Services Centre:
- Balance workload, track performance, and foster continuous capability growth
- Partner with:
- Procurement and business stakeholders to support supplier onboarding
- Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to manage escalations and provide insights for governance forums
- Drive implementation and continuous improvement of risk-based workflows, tools, and methodologies by:
- Identifying opportunities for automation, simplification, and user adoption
- Ensure compliance with regulatory and internal requirements, including:
- Supporting audits and monitoring KPIs & service levels
- Overseeing ongoing supplier risk monitoring and reassessment programs

Qualifications & Experience
- 5+ years of experience in:
- Supplier Risk Management, Supplier Qualification, Procurement Operations, or Third-Party Risk Management
- Leading operational teams in shared service centres or global business services environments
- Deep understanding of:
- Supplier onboarding, Due Diligence, Risk Assessment, and Governance processes
- Experience working with enterprise procurement and supplier management systems
- Bachelor’s degree in:
- Business, Procurement, Risk Management, Finance, Law, or equivalent experience
- Strong skills in:
- Risk assessment and problem-solving
- Stakeholder management and communication
- Data-driven decision-making and analytical & reporting capabilities
- Balancing risk management requirements with operational efficiency and business needs
