The Opportunity

As a Supply Chain Specialist, you'll be responsible for managing procurement activities across the full supply chain lifecycle, working closely with internal stakeholders and external suppliers to deliver best value while maintaining quality, compliance, and performance.

You'll contribute to both day-to-day operational delivery and longer-term supply chain improvement initiatives, helping to drive efficiency, manage supplier relationships, and support strategic business objectives.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Source suppliers and manage end-to-end RFx activities
  • Review Statements of Work, evaluate supplier proposals, negotiate commercial terms, and implement contracts
  • Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders to understand programme requirements
  • Develop and maintain effective supplier relationships, monitoring performance and driving continuous improvement
  • Maintain accurate procurement and contract data within the ERP system
  • Monitor supply chain risks, resolving issues and ensuring compliance with procurement best practice
  • Support forecasting, scheduling, inventory management, and spend optimisation initiatives

What We're Looking For

Essential:

  • Relevant qualification or equivalent experience within procurement, supply chain, or a related discipline
  • Experience managing supplier relationships within a commercial environment
  • Strong negotiation skills with experience managing subcontract agreements
  • Good understanding of Purchase-to-Pay processes and wider supply chain operations
  • Experience procuring professional or technical services

Desirable:

  • CIPS qualification (or currently working towards one)
  • Knowledge of import/export controls, including US export regulations
