About The Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented Supply Chain Specialist to take end-to-end ownership of planning and supply activities for one or more product families within our sterile pharmaceutical manufacturing operation.

This role provides hands-on experience in:

  • Production planning
  • Material planning
  • Purchasing
  • Inventory management
  • Finite scheduling

Working closely with Operations, Procurement, Quality teams, and Customer Service, you’ll ensure customer demand is translated into achievable production plans while maintaining material availability and operational efficiency. This is an excellent opportunity to build or advance your supply chain planning career within a highly regulated manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Review customer demand forecasts, validate requirements against available manufacturing capacity
  • Maintain customer demand, sales orders, and planning data within SAP
  • Run Material Requirements Planning (MRP) to identify material shortages and generate purchasing requirements
  • Raise, manage, and expedite purchase orders to ensure raw material availability
  • Create, release, and maintain production orders and associated documentation
  • Develop and maintain finite production schedules using SAP and Advanced Planning Systems (APS)
  • Monitor production progress, collaborate with Manufacturing teams to resolve capacity issues and material shortages
  • Maintain planning master data, SOPs, and supporting documentation
  • Track planning performance to support continuous improvement initiatives
  • Build strong cross-functional relationships to align on service, inventory, and production objectives

What We're Looking For

Essential Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Business, or a related discipline
  • 1–3 years’ experience using SAP PP/MM in a manufacturing or supply chain environment
  • Strong Excel and analytical skills with attention to detail
  • Excellent organisational skills
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities for cross-functional collaboration

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience using Advanced Planning Systems (e.g., SAP IBP, Kinaxis, RapidResponse)
  • Background in a pharmaceutical and GMP-regulated manufacturing environment
  • APICS CPIM certification or CIPS Level 4 qualification
  • Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma methodologies
  • Experience in continuous improvement or change management initiatives
