Location: Woodford Halse Job Type: 18 Month – Fixed Term Contract Department: Supply Chain Reports to: Supply Chain Systems and Analytics Manager
Hours of Work:
Your normal hours will be:
- Monday to Thursday: 07:30 to 16:15
- Friday: 07:00 to 15:30
With 30-minute unpaid lunch breaks daily. Occasional additional hours may be required in response to business needs. 1 working-from-home day per week permitted.

Job Summary
As the Supply Chain Systems & Data Analyst, you’ll maintain integrity and governance of Inventory and Materials Requirements Planning (MRP) data, embodying our philosophy that everything is critical. Your focus is on ensuring data systemic effectiveness that supports engineering, supply chain, and production teams, including Bill of Materials (BOM), engineering changes, and master data, while driving continuous improvement in data accuracy, system performance, and business processes.
You’ll leverage data-driven solutions for optimal inventory management, planning efficiency, and operational outputs, working cross-functionally to uphold data integrity and elevate process efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain accuracy and integrity of inventory, demand, and master data within the MRP system.
- Manage BOM maintenance in the MRP system, involving:
- Creation and maintenance of part numbers.
- Updating part attributes.
- Managing part lineage.
- Developing Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Validate BOMs to ensure engineering-compliant accuracy in demand, completeness, and alignment with change documentation.
- Facilitate engineering change implementation, ensuring superseded part management through:
- Stock depletion.
- Scrapping.
- Approved disposition processes.
- Serve as the primary interface between Engineering teams and part master data, supporting improvement initiatives for part numbering, data standards, and system workflow.
- Research/un validate supplier information including:
- BOM cost structures.
- Lead times and shutdown periods.
- Minimum order quantities and batch sizes.
- Drive continuous improvements in BOM management and data quality; optimizing supply chain system performance and reliability.
- Develop and monitor logistics and supply chain performance metrics, erroneous data investigation and quality assurance follow-up.
- Implement industry best practices for improving data governance and system efficiency.
- Perform other assigned duties as needed.

Skills, Abilities & Attributes
- Attention to detail with strong analytical, project management, interpersonal communication, and written documentation capabilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ability for data-driven problem-solving.
- Demonstrated experience collaborating across functional teams; integrating analytical solutions with creative problem-solving.
- Ability to operate effectively under pressure and meet deadlines in fast-paced environments.
- Great personality and communication skills, building relationships in engineering, production, and management while navigating changing priorities.
- Quick learner, capable of acquiring technical insights in assembly and testing processes with maintainable contextual awareness.
