About the Role
As our new Supply Planner, you'll play a key role in ensuring our customers have the products they need, when they need them. You'll take ownership of inventory planning, supplier performance and stock availability, balancing customer demand with commercial priorities to deliver an outstanding service.
Working collaboratively with suppliers and teams across Category, Customer Service, Distribution and Inventory, you'll use data and insight to optimise stock levels, improve supplier performance and drive continuous improvements across our supply chain. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys problem solving, building strong relationships and making a real impact on business performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan inventory to meet customer demand while balancing stock levels, supplier capacity and service targets.
- Manage supplier performance and build strong relationships to improve availability and delivery performance.
- Monitor inventory levels and identify opportunities to optimise stock holding and reduce excess inventory.
- Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to improve inventory processes and operational performance.
- Resolve supplier and inventory issues, ensuring timely and effective solutions.
- Analyse data and performance trends to identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
Requirements
- Experience within inventory planning, supply planning or supplier management.
- Good understanding of inventory management principles and supply chain operations.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong commercial awareness with the ability to balance customer needs and business objectives.
- A proactive, organised approach with the confidence to take ownership and drive results.
