Supply Planning Manager

Location: London (Hybrid – 3 days in office) Salary: Β£60,000 – Β£75,000 (DoE) Industry: High Growth FMCG / Consumer – Personal Care Product Manufacturing Employment Type: Full-time Seniority Level: Manager / Senior Manager


Key Responsibilities

  • Supply Chain Leadership: Oversee end-to-end supply planning, production, and fulfilment while driving strategic transformation.
  • AI & Automation: Lead the shift away from manual processes by identifying inefficiencies and implementing scalable, data-driven solutions.
  • Performance & Cost Efficiency: Optimise inventory, stock health, and operational metrics to deliver commercial outcomes.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Align demand, supply, and planning with S&OP ownership while maintaining relationships with suppliers, Finance, and Commercial teams.
  • Team Development: Mentor junior team members and cultivise innovation while cutting through ambiguity in high-growth environments.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Strategic Supply Planning: Proven S&OP experience in FMCG, retail, or D2C, with a track record in blue-chip (global) or fast-growing challenger companies.
  • Supplier & CM Portfolio: Extensive experience managing suppliers, contract manufacturers, and high-volume production at scale.
  • Technical Proficiency:
    • Advanced Excel/Google Sheets and data manipulation.
    • Experience with ERP, planning systems, or BI tools is a plus.
    • Expertise in supply chain metrics, KPIs, forecasting.
  • Automation & AI: Hands-on implementation of automation/AI in supply chain or operations (not just exposure) to optimise processes and decision-making.
