Supply Planning Platform Lead - UK&I
Job Description

You will lead large supply planning team responsible for four plants within the UK&I network, including the iconic Bournville factory. You will ensure robust short to long term production plans are in place to support delivery of approved business plans. You will play a crucial role through your leadership in connecting teams, plans and stakeholders to deliver business results.
How You Will Contribute
You will:
- Lead, engage, coach, and develop a team of 11 in multi-level organisation. Create a high-performance team culture through effective communication, talent development and inclusive leadership.
- Prepare short and long-term end-to-end supply plans for items produced in four UK&I based plants covering Chocolate, Ref Bev and Candy portfolios.
- Deliver performance against approved master and detailed schedules and long-range plans, including capacity considerations, using system and tools. Prepare and drive IBP supply reviews, escalate issues and secure decisions.
- Ensure plants conformance to schedule, drive labour and capacity plans, to secure customer service delivery and safeguard supply.
- Deliver improvements in supply planning processes that allow you to meet KPIs including (but not limited to) customer fill rate, plant performance KPIs, inventory, waste and cost targets as set by the business.
- Collaborate with key stakeholders across Manufacturing, CS&L, PCM, Finance and Procurement to deliver BU and MEU goals.
- Know and follow the legal and compliance responsibilities of the role. Ensure employees in areas of responsibility understand the compliance responsibilities of their jobs. Lead ethically and be a model for compliant behaviour.

What You Will Bring

- Comprehensive supply planning and supply chain knowledge and experience and strong business acumen ideally within an FMCG/CPG environment. Financial and/ or logistics experience would be an advantage.
- Open to learn new ways of working, take full advantage of data and systems.
- Able to drive continuous improvement in ways of working and operational management based on agility, focus on deliverables, and process simplification.
- Experience in driving supply review and participation in an IBP cycle.
- Able to influence cross-functional teams, working on the key priorities and improving the plan.
- Able to build and sustain motivated and effective teams.
- Knowledgeable about leading practice supply planning and end-to-end supply chain concepts
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and verbal and written communication skills
