Leading Supply Planning (MPS - Scheduling - MRP) Team at Mondelēz International

You will lead a large supply planning team responsible for four plants within the UK&I network[(including the iconic Bournville factory). Ensure robust short to long-term production plans are in place to support the delivery of the approved business plans.

Your leadership will play a crucial role in connecting teams, plans, and key stakeholders to drive business results.


How You Will Contribute

You will be responsible for the following key tasks:

  • Leadership & Engagement

    • Lead, engage, coach, and develop a team of 11 across a multi-level organisation.
    • Create a high-performance team culture through effective communication, talent development, and inclusive leadership.
  • Supply Planning & Operational Excellence

    • Prepare short-term and long-term end-to-end supply plans for chocolate, refusable beverages (Ref Bev), and candy portfolios across UK&I plants.
    • Deliver against approved master schedules, detailed schedules, and long-range plans, incorporating capacity considerations.
    • Collaborate with internal systems and tools (SAP, IBP, etc.) to execute supply plans and address escalations.
  • Collaboration & Compliance

    • Prepare Integrated Business Planning (IBP) reviews, escalate issues, and secure decisions at leadership levels.
    • Ensure plants’ adherence to scheduling, driving labour and capacity plans to safeguard supply and meet customer service delivery.
    • Align supply plans with KPIs, including:
      • Customer fill rate
      • Plant performance KPIs
      • Inventory optimisation
      • Waste reduction
      • Cost targets

  • Stakeholder Coordination: Work cross-functionally with Manufacturing, Customer Service & Logistics (CS&L), Packaging and Conversion Management (PCM), Finance, and Procurement to achieve BU and MEU goals.

  • Compliance & Ethical Leadership

    • Uphold and enforce legal/compliance responsibilities for the role.
    • Ensure colleagues in assigned areas adhere to compliance guidelines.
    • Lead with ethical behaviour, setting an example as a compliant organisational model.

What You Will Bring

We seek a candidate driven to grow their career and accelerate impact, with the following essential qualifications:

  • Expertise in Supply Planning & Supply Chain

    • Extensive supply chain and manufacturing experience, preferably in FMCG/CPG.
    • Financial/logistics experience will be an advantage.
  • Data & Innovation Mindset

    • Strong aptitude for learning new ways of working and leveraging data systems.
  • Continuous Improvement

    • Ability to drive process optimisation, focusing on agility, deliverables, and simplification.
  • IBP Engagement & Problem-Solving

    • Experience driving supply reviews and participating in Integrated Business Planning (IBP) cycles.
    • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder influence skills.
  • Leadership & Team Management

    • Experience in coaching and building motivated teams.
  • Industry Standards & Communication

    • Knowledge of leading supply chain practices and end-to-end operational concepts.
    • Kristall communication skills, both verbal and written.
