Supply Qualified Teacher of the Deaf - Part-time – 4 days – 0.8 FTE

Contract: Permanent

Location: Sensory Support Service, Deaf Centre at Darrick Wood School, Lovibonds Avenue, Orpington BR6 8ER

Hours: Part time – 4 days 0.8 FTE equal to 24/30ths

Grade: MPS/UP + 2 SEN allowance (max) for a Qualified Teacher of the Deaf

Closing date: 4th May 2026 @ Midnight

Interview date: 13th May 2026

Bromley Sensory Support Service, is seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, Qualified Teacher of the Deaf to work in the Deaf Centre, at Darrick Wood School from September 2026.

The post is to teach and support pupils in the Deaf Centre and within Darrick Wood School.

Applications are invited from Qualified Teachers of the Deaf. Candidates must have the mandatory qualification in Hearing Impairment/Teaching Deaf Learners and a minimum of BSL Level 1. Additional relevant qualifications would be an advantage.
